It is very ironic, if you think about it,but you have to clear your mind out of every ideas, worries, running thoughts,to-do-lists etc, in order to find happiness. The less your mind overwhelmed with things, the more space in it is left for enjoyment! The more room is left to breathe. The easier it is for a smile to appear on your face.
It is so,because by clearing out your mind, you ease your brain. So, by clearing your mind, being programmed to finish your tasks and than feel relaxed, your mind is telling your body that you have no tasks left, and that you can totally relax, starting with that moment.
That is why meditation is one of the best ways to instantly feel happier. However, you can do this by applying a simple breathing exercise (breath in counting to five, than breath out counting to five, breath in through one nostril, breath out through the other,etc.).
Hope that today you’ll find even more happiness than the day before!
Quiet time is so lacking in this world! It should be the first thing we teach is to have quiet alone time every day. Those thoughts never stop-it’s what the brain does…so we need down time and a little breathing!
It all becomes clearer with breathing, we all can hear the truth in the silence. Thanks for visiting my blog and following it! I hope you’ll enjoy it in the future as well. Have a great day
I tend to be an uptight person. I recently started practicing breathing to slow down. It really helps. Thanks for sharing and for liking my blog.
It’s amazing what a simple breathing exercises can do for a person. I really liked your blog. Thanks for stopping by here 🙂
This is so true! Having a few to-do items on one’s mind may not seem like a big deal, especially in the modern world where it seems like we always have lists and schedules; but even thinking about a very small task is enough to lose the joy of the moment. Thanks for the advice!
